Kansans Can Competency Framework

Download the Kansans Can Competency Framework free curricula to teach self-regulation, self-efficacy, assertiveness, and conflict management (K–12). Once you have downloaded the PDF files, forward this URL to educators in your school and district so they can download also.

The Kansans Can Competency Framework empowers students to take ownership of their learning and build confidence. The evidence-based curricula include instructional activities, formative assessment, and numerous teaching resources. The curricula and professional learning opportunities are sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education.

To learn about implementing this instruction in your school, sign up for upcoming virtual training with coaching that accompanies these curricula. If you have questions or are you interested in school-wide training from a Recognized Trainer, contact Dr. Pattie Noonan at pnoonan@ku.edu.
